Burland House Sneak Peek + Art Showcase

Presented by Hum Furniture

Details

The Burland house was designed and built as an exploration of what a connected home can be. It reflects a perspective on what the over-techification of the modern American life has become, and what it might be if we were able to design it with more intention.

While you won’t find many screens in the home, there are technological and scientific innovations integrated throughout. Some cutting edge, and others rediscovered from the ways that homes and furnishings were built to last generations ago. From the elegant lighting design by Addie Smith at Studio Adelia integrated with the architectural features of the home to the few suggested experiences in the listening room among others, we’re excited for you to experience what the house has to offer over the few hours before and after sunset. You won't want to miss dusk.
